WELCOME TO MOTHER KEVIN PROVIDENCE SOCIAL ENTERPRISE WEBSITE

OUR History

Mother Kevin Providence Social Enterprise (MKPSE) trains and engages women and youth groups by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and partnerships necessary for sustainable farm enterprises.
Our approach focuses on developing Farm-Microenterprises, such as poultry, piggery, mushroom cultivation, and horticulture, to address poverty, create jobs, and increase household income for women and youth farmers in rural communities around Jinja.
MKPSE’s origins trace back to the Association of Consecrated Women in East and Central Africa (ACWECA). Recognizing the ongoing challenges faced by local institutes due to donor fatigue, ACWECA sought ways to help African sisters’ institutes become self-sustaining and continue their vital ministries.
